Complex Privileges & Access Control

The users/members of MyHSS have a very complex structure of accesses, privileges, and viewing/editing rights for every module, every feature, and sometimes even actions on specific features. This makes the system quite complex to first understand and then implement.

Event Management Module Complexitys

MyHSS needed a robust module to manage events, including creation, registration, payments, reminders, and check-in/out for participants. Events could be paid or free, targeted to specific groups, the public, a geographical location, or selected users. This module presented a high level of logical complexity and is crucial for system usage.

Scalability Issues

As the member base grew to over 6,000 users, the legacy infrastructure struggled to handle increased load and concurrent user activities efficiently.

Email Queue Implementation

The system required a robust email delivery mechanism to handle mass communications, event reminders, and notifications to thousands of members without latency or server blocking.

Mobile Application Stability

The mobile applications were experiencing sporadic crashes, which negatively affected user experience and overall member engagement.

iOS Production Environment Login

Users were unable to log in to the production environment on the iOS platform, despite the staging environment functioning correctly, creating a critical access blocker.

Redis-Based Queue System

Implemented a Redis queue management system for email sending operations. This ensures reliable, asynchronous delivery of mass communications and prevents email server overload during peak usage.

Mobile App Optimization

Conducted thorough debugging and optimization of the mobile applications. Implemented comprehensive crash reporting and monitoring systems to proactively identify and resolve stability issues.

iOS Authentication Fix

Identified and resolved environment-specific configuration issues within the iOS production build. This ensured seamless authentication and access consistency across all deployment environments.
